”To sum up what Mamba Mentality is, it means to be able to constantly try to be the best version of yourself... That is what the Mentality is. It's a constant quest to try to be better today than you were yesterdayKobe BryantMamba Mentality
I love the Mamba Mentality! Everyday, I strive to improve myself, whether that be getting stronger/leaner in the gym or learning/implementing new Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts or even just learning something new. The point is by the end of the day I am better than the yesterday me. However, sometimes improvement can be so incremental that we feel like we are not improving/plateauing, which can be very demotivating! It’s also very uncommon that we track our progress and the small wins we have throughout the self-improvement process… I mean this is understandable given how busy we are.
And so, in an effort to track my progress, I decided to start an initiative called Self-Improvement Sunday where I block out 1 – 2 hours on Sunday morning to either learn something new or review my week’s progression and track what I have learned/improved on. I will create a timeline to display this moving forward so that when I look back in time, I know that I am making consistent improvement and more importantly how!
